On appearance, dull golden colour is characteristic of this Muškat. The smell is crisp and fruity, which compensates the sweet notes. Taste manifests an extraordinary combination of sweetness, lively acid tones, and delicate flower aroma. Aftertaste is mild but memorable. Vineyards: 24 years, 300 metres above sea level, S exposure.
Soil: Marl, clay.
Harvest: Hand-picked, second half of September.
Vinification: Grapes were containing “Botrytis cinerea”, which reflects in discreet funghi tones, cold maceration of 48h, spontaneous fermentation without added yeasts, filtration was used to halt the fermentation.
Maturation: 6 months in stainless steel tanks. 6 months in the bottle.
Sugar level: Sweet, 50g of residual sugar.
