Tawny
Our version of the famous Port wine. The scent is very fresh and fruity, notes of wild strawberries and dark berries predominate. The taste is still a bit youthful with a pronounced fruitiness, but Tawny also has more concrete notes of ripe figs. 5 years of aging in oak barrels contributed to the elegant taste and added fine woody aromas. Wine for chocolates and cigars! Stock up on it for a decade without fear.

Varietal composition: Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Region: Bizeljsko, Lower Styria, Slovenia.
Location of vineyards: 14 years, 320 meters above sea level, S orientation.
Soil: Marl, schist and sandstone.
Harvest: Hand-picked, first half of September.
Vinification: Maceration and spontaneous fermentation, without added yeast. Halt of fermentation with the addition of marc spirit.

Alcohol: 21.5 % vol
