Žan Red
Extremely juicy wine, most often called “malinovec” (raspberry liqueur)
Aromatic on the nose, aromas of berries and raspberries, and in the mouth completely dry, nicely acidic and extremely potable. Wine for every day.

Varietal composition: Žametovka, Kraljevina, Blue Franconian, Merlot, Welschriesling
Region: Bizeljsko, Lower Styria, Slovenia.
Location of vineyards: 15-60 years, 350 meters above sea level, N and E orientation.
Soil: Schist, clay and sandstone.
Harvest: Hand-picked, end September.
Vinification: 3 days of maceration with the addition of immediately pressed must. Spontaneous fermentation. No added yeast, no filtration. Aging: 6 months in stainless steel barrels.
SO2 addition: 5mg/L
Residual sugar: dry
Alcohol: 11.0% vol
Bottle: 0.75 L
